BodyFuelIQ

A food diary that already speaks Australian.

Kilojoules, not calories converted after the fact. Portions measured the way food is actually sold here. Built on the government's own composition data rather than an American database with the spelling changed.

Invite-only while it is being finished.

Type the day. Not twelve forms.

Most trackers make you search, tap, choose a portion, confirm — for every single item. Write the day the way you'd tell someone about it instead.

The details that get quietly wrong elsewhere

Small things, but they compound over a year of entries.

Kilojoules first

Australian labels are in kilojoules and so is this. Calories are there if you want them, converted once at the edge rather than baked into the maths.

Fibre counted properly

Australia's energy factors include fibre at 8 kJ/g, and carbohydrate here means available carbohydrate. Using US conventions on AU food quietly shifts every total.

Portions people actually use

"1 banana, medium" is 127 g, and the app knows that. Nearly ten thousand measured portions, so you weigh things when you want to, not because you have to.

Recipes by the serve

Cook the whole batch, weigh it once, and log a bowl of it. Working from the finished weight sidesteps the guesswork about how much water boiled off.

Entries don't drift

Every entry stores its own nutrition at the moment you logged it. Correcting the food database later never rewrites your history behind your back.

Weight and trend together

Daily weight is noisy and discouraging. A trend line over it shows what is actually happening, which is the number worth reacting to.
